I contacted SouthBeach Transport in a frenzy because the company I originally hired (RoadRunner - DON'T USE THEM!!!) would not return my phone calls. I had no idea whether or not my father's car would even be picked up.

I spoke with Rene Anthony. I cannot begin to tell you how helpful he was. From explaining how their company works - what to expect - and all other aspects. The cost was a little (tiny) bit more than the other (bad) company had quoted, but since I also had the recommendation of someone who had used them, I decided to use SouthBeach. There is also a young lady in the office that I have spoken to but cannot remember her name. She was also fabulous!

From the beginning they kept us in the loop the entire time. We needed the car to be picked up on a certain day, and they bent over backwards to make that happen for us. The car was picked up the afternoon of April 14. We were told that it would be 7-10 days before the car would be arriving at our destination.

On Friday, April 18, I thought that I would contact the company on Monday (after the holiday), only to remind them that I was the contact person on the receiving end. My Dad had been the contact for pick-up, but he is now traveling and unavailable.

I didn't have to wait that long. Friday afternoon, I received a call from CAA Transport (the actual transport company) and they advised me that the driver would most likely arrive sometime on Sunday. Wow! That wasn't even a week! From then on I received calls from the actual driver...I believe his name was Tran. He called me on Saturday and said he didn't know what time he would be arriving on Sunday - it could be late in the evening. I assured him any time was fine. He called me around noon on Sunday and told me he should be arriving around 5pm. Then he called around 4 and said he was in the area and would be there in about 30 minutes.

He could not deliver to our door, because our development has very narrow streets. We agreed to meet in the parking lot of the shopping center 5 minutes from my house. He off loaded the car, had me inspect it, took pictures of it - all with a smile on his face. I handed over the payment, he gave me a signed receipt - and it was done.

South Beach is a class act from beginning to end. I would not hesitate to use them again. I have a lot of friends and family in the military and I will do everything in my power to provide excellent reviews and referrals for them.

I can't thank them enough!

P.S. I am not getting paid, receive no incentive, do not know any of these people personally. I am writing this enthusiastic review because I have read about so many other horror stories of people trying to transport their cars by less than reputable companies. I just want everyone to know that South Beach is a REPUTABLE company, and you can rest easy when you hire them.
