Perfect - Well worth tiny extra cost.

I bought a Volvo V90 Cross Country for my wife. There are not a lot of pre-owned V90 out there. After search for 2 months we settled on a vehicle from Georgia. We live in Idaho. I went looking for car shippers in all the usual places. I came across Ship A Car Direct. They were a little more expensive but I liked the reviews and their insurance guarantee. We were no in a big rush to get the car here and I have shipped cars before and it can take some time. I bought the car on a Tuesday, I closed the order with SACD that day. Before the end of the day, they had assigned the car to a shipper. It was scheduled to be picked up on that Friday and delivered a week from Saturday. They picked up the car right on time. The dealer salesman was kind enough to SACD ap to take the before pictures and send them to me. On Tuesday, I got a call from the shipper saying he would be there late the next day, Wednesday. He showed up at 4:30. Really nice guy. Our home is up a private road and I knew there was no way he could get the transporter up there let alone out again. So I had told him where he could park safely and unload. It worked perfectly. He called when he got here and drove down to meet him. I was surprised because I was prepared for the car to be really. As it turned, our car was on the lower deck in the middle and I guess the weather had been clear all the way from Georgia. Any way, the car looked like I had been driving is normally and hadn't washed it for a couple of weeks. A little dust and one bug splat. It was beautiful. My wife was thrilled. I would do it again in a minute. It was only a couple of hundred more than the cheapest bid. It was well worth it for the piece of mind.
