Car arrived safe and on time and but stressful process

My car made the cross-country journey from coast to coast with no problems. It arrived undamaged and works perfectly, so that is the most important thing. The process, however, stressed me out because the car arrived as fast as possible and we had to scramble to find a friend to accept delivery in our absence. We attempted to arrange a more flexible delivery timetable suited to our arrival but the carrier would not budge and delivered it based on the best time for them, not for us.
