Since this system will not allow rebuttals, I will post again. I was more than willing to give my daughter the cash to pay. Froland may the decision that I would pay the driver upfront - NOT ME.
It was not possible to deliver the car early because it is a gated apartment complex. There was no place to put it.
The car was delivered on Wed. - one of the very few things Froland said which is true. But it was promised the previous Friday.
As for the weather, the snowstorm was predicted DAYS ahead of time and the driver waited until after the 0 degree days and snow hit to leave. Seriously, who waits for cold weather and a storm to hit???
I started this process 6 weeks ahead of scheduled pickup date. How could they screw this up. So much planning time ..... wasted.
And there was no response from Froland on my comment about poor communication because they know it is the truth.
Go with the cheapest broker that will deliver the car. None of them deliver on time and all of them broker out the deliveries to independents.
Don't get me wrong, I'm all in favor of honest people earning a living. But 2 breakdowns before the car is 300 miles away????
Not my idea of a reputable company.

The reason this customer was dispatched as pre-paid was because he informed us no one would be there for the delivery. The delivery was no PROMISED for Friday, Friday was the estimated delivery date. His vehicle is not the only vehicle on the truck, we carry between 6-8 vehicles on that truck, so the pickup and delivery times are estimated because we have to work around other customers also. This is also why the driver was delayed leaving. Obviously this customer has never had a mechanical problem on a weekend that he has had to wait to be repaired. I hope he never has to bring his vehicle into a dealership for repairs. Sometimes it is impossible to please everyone.
