First Time Move

This was the first time I have ever shipped a vehicle. It was an OK expirence. My original quote price was $995 to movd my ford ranger from Michigan to California ($195 down, $800 COD). But due to the "higher fuel costs" no drivers were picking up my order after about 10 days. So Debbie arranged a higher COD payout and split the cost with me 33/67 (not exactly 50/50 but it got my truck moved). I ended up paying an extra $150 COD but she re-embursed me $50 as promised. So my total cost to move my truck from Michigan to California was $1095, still a bargain in my book.

The actual transport company was Dynasty Auto Transport, real nice guy, very acomidating on pickup and drop-off time\location.

The only bad part was there was a mistake in the name that Debbie from ASA gave me, she told me that it was Dynasty Trans, so I double checked with her on the name becuuse I had planned on using a cashiers check and she confirmed it was Dynasty Transportation. The only problem was that it wasn't Dynasty Transportation, it was Dynasty Auto Transport and the guy would not accept my cashiers check. He was very nice about it, and appoligetic but he couldn't accept it. Luckily it was a Tuesday morning and my credit union was open and only 2 miles away. So I had to run up there while the driver waited with my truck and get the cashiers check either changed or cashed for the driver. I opted for cash because it easier and the driver said he preferred it.

After all that everything is good, I got my truck delivered at a decent price and all was alright with it other than a little dirty (which I expected from an open trailer).
