I dealt with Gricell Rosario from AmeriFreight to find a transporter for a non-operative 1970 Camaro coming from Texas to Indiana. I initially contacted them for a quote, but with the personalized attention I received from Gricell, it was easy for me to decide who I would use to arrange my transport. Being that the car was inop. had been partially disassembled for restoration, and would come with a cabin full of parts, I found that other transport companies I contacted didn't take the time to extract details about the haul that could negatively impact the final cost to me. I was cautious because I've read horror stories about transporters holding cars "hostage" for more money because they were not given all of the information up front about the car. I did NOT want this t happen to me! I made this point very clear to Gricell, and she assured me that she would communicate 100% of the information I supplied to the transporter, so that there would be NO surprises for anybody. I supplied specific information including weight estimates of the additional parts, and most importantly, pictures of the car as it was to be found on the day of transport. Gricell quickly found a transporter willing to move the car, and for a very reasonable price. She conveyed the information and pictures directly to the driver. This whole process happened within MINUTES of her connecting with the transport driver...that's right, I said MINUTES! She was FAST, FAST, F-A-S-T!!! I signed the contract, and the driver picked the car up the very next afternoon. And the BEST part of my experience? I received my car ONE ENTIRE DAY EARLY! Yes, the car got to me ahead of time, and in the condition I expected it to arrive in!! So, if you're looking for a hassle free, no surprises experience with your vehicle transport, I highly recommend using AmeriFreight!
